International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis was celebrated in Izhevsk

The members of the Council of Elders and representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora Shahlar Mustafayev, Ilgar Khalilov, Eynulla Mustafayev and Mohubbat Mirzayev also congratulated everyone on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis. According to them, as the date coincided with the New Years holiday is celebrated widely. The main purpose of the holiday is the unity and solidarity, devotion to the motherland, respect to national and spiritual values and traditions of the world Azerbaijanis.

Note that, in the event held with the participation of Land of Fire Udmurtia Youth Center, the young people were the majority. The chairman of the Land of Fire Youth Center Rashad Abbasov expressed his gratefulness to the chairman of the Udmurtia Social Center Zulfiqar Mirzayev for their support in organizing of the event. Zulfiqar Mirzoyev, mentioned in particular the gathering of a number of talented young people around the Land of Fire Youth Organization. He also added the participation of more than 80 young volunteers in the event, is the expression of the young peoples commitment to their roots, and it is very gratifying.
Then the event was continued outdoors. The chairman of the Friendship Udmurtia Social Center - Zulfiqar Mirzayev, in Izhevsk central square, greeted the residents of the community and congratulated them on the occasion of New Year and Christmas, also for the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day on December 31 and added that the mentioned Social Center of Udmurtia has been contributing to preserve and development of the warm and friendly relations between the peoples of Udmurtia.

Following the official part, the event continued with the competitions dedicated to the history and culture of Azerbaijan. The winners were awarded. The participants were then invited to the festive table decorated with national dishes and sweets. The dances of the members of the organization added another color to the night. during the event the presence of the festive mood was felt among the participants. The event is etched in everyones mind with good impressions.
