He put the emphasize on the threat of double standards in conflict resolutions. Mrs. Iveta underlined the necessity of close relations and cooperation between civil societies of two nations.
The Latvian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mr. Yuris Maklakovs pointed out the regional importance of establishment of cooperation between media and civil society organizations on the basis of justice and objectivity principles.
The Editor in chief of the Eurasia Diary information analytic portal Malik Ayub Sumbal, participating at the meeting mentioned about the importance of the speech of Latvian president about the currently refugee and migrant crisis and issues treating the global peace.
