As part of its endeavor to build closer politico-strategic ties and economically integrate with countries across continents, China has put forward a gigantic plan to revive the ancient Silk Road. Spearheaded by the Chinese President Xi Jinping, the proposal is officially termed as the “One Belt, One Road” Initiative and comprises the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
The Chairman of International Eurasia Press Fund, Mr.Umud Mirzayev welcomed Mr.Xu Wenhong and emphasized the importance of development of mutual ties and cooperation. Deputy Secretary General, Mr.Xu Wenhong talked about the importance of the work done by IEPF and expressed the willing to initiate a very warm relationship with International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF).
Both sides agreed that mutual projects between International Eurasia Press Fund and Center for ‘One Belt One Road’ will obviously have positive impact on the future partnership between China and Azerbaijan. At the end of his visit, Mr.Xu Wenhong gave an exclusive interview to the Eurasia Diary.
