The founder of the parliament  TV at Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM), the director of European Journalists Association, Adnan Fishenk  who is on a visit in Baku met with the president of International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) Umud Mirzayev. 
 
U.Mirzayev informed the guest about the history and activity of organization, its  multi-sided activity and multiple projects implemented by IEPF. He said that the International Eurasia Press Fund is an independent non-governmental organization, established in Azerbaijan in 1992 and the general status member of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
 
The chairman of IEPF said that his organization functions within the framework of cooperation with UN organizations, Department of State, European Commission, World Bank, Press Institute, Federation of International Journalists, Embassies of foreign countries in Azerbaijan, ministries, agencies, local and international NGOs in the regions.
 
 U.Mirzayev added that "Eurasia Diary" portal established with the initiative of IEPF is available in five languages where articles of international experts and authors are  published. 
 
Adnan Fishenk highly appreciated the activity of IEPF and "Eurasia Diary".
 
He informed IEPF president about the activity of European Journalists Association and its future plans. He stressed that European Journalists Association established in 1999 in Turkey currently has more than 10 representative offices worldwide including in Austria, USA, UK, Japan, Greece, Russia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kenya, South Korea, Middle East, Saudi Arabia and Azerbaijan. 
 
The main activity of association is to support cooperation between Turkey and regional countries, to cover the developments in the field of education, science and culture, organize events as part of the cooperation in television, media and information areas. 
 
U. Mirzayev and A. Fishenk stressed the importance of organizing joint events for expanding cooperation between Azerbaijani and Turkish journalists, making mutual visits and exchange of information.
