“The 7th Social Business Day” international conference holds at the discretion of the Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus in the capital city if Bangladesh, Dakka, on 28-29 July. Azerbaijani delegation consisting of the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MLSPP) Matin Karimli, Deputy Chief of the State Employment Service (SES) under the Ministry Sabuhi Huseynov, the President of the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) Umud Mirzayev and vice-president Ramil Azizov attends in the event.
 
“The Social Business Day” conference organized by the Nobel Peace Prize winner, founder of the “Yunus Soial Business Center” Muhammad Yunus in the context of global challenge dedicated to the development of the social business for the eradication of poverty, ensuring economic freedom, implementation of social programs and reforms, and protection of environment. The “Three Zeros” (0 poverty, 0 unemployment, 0 pollution) theory offered by Muhammad Yunus for the solution of the current problems was an agenda of the event. In addition, there were discussions on the improvement of the social business strategies, establishment of the sustainable social business structures, and sharing experiences applying by the various countries for future collaboration. 
 
Azerbaijani delegation visited to the International Yunus Center to meet Professor Muhammad Yunus within the event. Deputy Minister of the MLSPP Matin Karimli gave an information about the economic growth gained as a result of the successful diversification of the economy and economic reforms led by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev in the meeting.  Consequently, the unemployment and poverty rate reduced by 5% and fulfilled large-scale social programs for the social protection of population. Furhtermore, effective use of labor resources, ensuring the self-employment of population, development of family businesses are the key topics of the conference. For that reason, a self-employment program is carrying out in cooporation with international organizations. In the first stage of the program 1400 family took an advantage of it and the International Labor Organization confirmed it as a successful experience. In parallel, ABAD Public Person was created for the development of the family businesses. 
 
Muhammad Yunus stated that he remembered well his visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of the International Eurasia Press Fund, and meetings with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, and the professors and students in ADA University. Professor also expressed his memories regarding the being hosted by the President Ilham Aliyev and the effective discussions with state agencies. He also talked about the importance of the replication of social development strategy of Azerbaijan in other countries. He highly appreciated the first Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva’s care and attention to this issue. Muhammad Yunus also expressed his satisfaction over the launching activity of the Yunus Center within the Azerbaijan State University of Economy on the base of the signed trilateral memorandum among the “Yunus Center”, IEPF and UNEC. He underlined that Azerbaijan has potential to be the social business center of the region and its  important role on this field in the region and invited Azerbaijani delegation to the “Global Social Business Summit” that will be held on November, 2017. Mr. Muhammad Yunus gave his positive impressions regarding the actuality of the IEPF President Umud Mirzayev’s idea “Beijing-Baku-Berlin: Social Business Silk Road” and stressed its importance and posibilities of mutual cooperation in terms of improving of the social business in the world. At the end of the conference memorial gift was given to Muhammad Yunus and taken a picture together with the Yunus Center’s volunteers. It is also put symbolic signatures by the Muhammad Yunus and volunteers on one of the bags designed for the event. 
 
Participants are informed about the social business projects and self-employment programs implementing in Azerbaijan by the Azerbaijani delegations in the “7th Social Business Day” conference held on July 28. UN Deputy Secretary General, UN representative for the Sustainable Development Goals Thomas Gass, President of the World Olympians Association Joel Bouzou, Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo (video-conference), 400 delegates from diffirent countries and international organizations, academicians participated in the conference.
