Today, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) and Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue (Geneva Center). The Memorandum was signed by the president of IEPF Umud Mirzayev and executive director Idriss Jazairy.

In the MoU it was stated that the parties aim to support each other in organization of mutual panel discussions on interreligious cooperation and understanding, protection and promotion of human rights, peacebuilding activities. The parties also agreed to give publicity to published statements, opinions, op-eds in the relevant communication channels managed by both organizations. International Eurasia Press Fund and Geneva Centre also agreed to identify topics for the future joint training, forums and panel discussion.   

The MoU also envisages joint activities on promoting peace and strengthening human rights within the Middle East and North Africa, Caucasus and Central Asia. The parties have decided to use the Eurasia Diary analytical information portal, which is publishing information in 5 languages, and operating under the auspices of IEPF,to spread tge international statements, articles, opinions, interviews and other relevant materials.

Following the ceremony of signing the MoU Ambassador Idriss Jazairy, Assistant Mustafa Blerim, MPs and civil society representatives got acquainted with the exhibition, organized within the framework of the project "My Village, My Homeland" initiated by the organization at the office of IEPF.

The Geneva Centre is a think-tank dedicated to the promotion of human rights through cross-cultural, religious and civilizational dialogue between the Global North and the Global South, and through training of the upcoming generations of stakeholders in the Arab region.

Executive Director of the organization, Ambassador Idriss Jazairy, has worked in the executive positions of the world's leading international organizations such as IFAD, CARE, ACORD. Currently, He is also a Special Rapporteur of the UN Human Rights Council on unilateral coercive measures and considered to be one of the influential persons in the field of human rights protection. He is one of the main moderators and speakers of the 5th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku.
