International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) held a press conference for the presentation of Al Jazeera's TV Program "Al-Mosafer"s films dedicated to Azerbaijan.

Noting that, AL-Mosafer program continues broadcasting documental films about Azerbaijan made together with IEPF. The films aim to convey the rich history, culture, mysterious nature of Azerbaijan, the ancient traditions of people, the way of life and the potential of tourism to the  Arab world. Five 25-minute films cover most regions of Azerbaijan, including Baku and Nakhchivan. The Al Jazeera Mosafir professional film staff, visiting Azerbaijan from June 20 to July 12, filmed the sightseeing places, national cuisine, historical heritage, folklore and music of our country with the help and technical support of the International Eurasia Press Fund. The first film about Baku has already been introduced to the Arab world. The films has been presenting since November 26, every Saturday November for five weeks. Four episodes of the movie have already been broadcasted and have caused serious interest in sharing on social networks. The next part of the film on Nakhchivan will be shown at 20:30 Baku time on December 21. Speaking at the conference, IEPF President Umud Mirzayev noted the special importance of films in terms of presenting and promoting our country in the Arab world:

“In general, the films make a great impression on our country and have an incredible footages. We are very proud of working with this professional team of the Al Jazeera Mosafir which  has been shooting in Spain, the Netherlands, Malaysia, Vietnam and other countries so far and represent our country. The film is the first international documentary to represent our country in a detailed, comprehensive form to the world with the work of professional team and the high-level equipment." Al Jazeera's host is Hazim Abuvafta, screen director of the film presented by chief producer Ziyad Jalal is Nicholas Libersale.

"IEPF is the author of various projects jointly with the Al Jazeera Media Network. I would like to specially mention the services of Al Jazeera Media Director, our friend Mustafa Souj, Ibrahim Hamdan and Sami Al Hajj in the making of this project," Umud Mirzayev added.

The head of IEPF commented on the statements of Hazim Abulvaftta, who brings the beauty of Azerbaijan to the Arab world through his view:
 
“When Abulvaftta presented Azerbaijan in the film, he said “Oh my God! The beauty of this country reminds "Thousand and One Nights" tales, and it is no surprise that Shahrizad and Shahriyar are actually from here." Such feelings of the presenter increases interest of the spectators for the all 4 series.

U.Mirzayev also said that the budget of film was financed by Al Jazeera TV.
 
Representative of the Ministry of Culture Elnara Guliyeva thanked the IEPF leadership and staff for their efforts to promote the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan at the event:
 
"The films produced by Al Jazeera TV, organized by IEPF today, are very interesting and admirable. IEPF has been providing great service to the Azerbaijani culture through these kinds of projects," added a representative of the Ministry of Culture.
