s a contribution to the "Year of Shusha", with the organisational and financial support of the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF), the construction of a private house for the family of the martyr of the Great Patriotic War has been completed in Minakhorlu village of Agjabadi region.

EDNews.net reports that the keys to the apartment built for the family of martyr Atayev Tariyel Fakhraddin oglu in Agjabadi district has been presented to the family.

Rafil Huseynov, Executive Head of Agjabadi District, Umud Mirzayev, President of the International Eurasia Press Fund, Zulfugar Mirzayev, Chairman of the Board of the Udmurtia-Azerbaijan Friendship Public Centre, Ruslan Guliyev, Head of the Department of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, Deputy Chairman Zaur Ibrahimov, Chairman of the Karabakh Veterans Public Union Asaf Aliyev, MP Agil Abbas, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Karabakh War Veterans, Veterans and Martyrs' Families Public Union Mehdi Mehdiyev, National Hero, Lieutenant-Colonel, Martyr of the First Karabakh War Shirin Mirzayev's wife, former MP Flora Gasimova, chairman of the "Azerbaijan Patriotic War Veterans" PU Fuzuli Rzaguliyev, as well as veterans from Agdam, Tartar, Barda and surrounding areas, members of the families of martyrs, as well as media representatives have attended the event.

At the event, the head of the Agjabadi District Executive Committee Rafil Huseynov has spoken about the heroism of the Martyr:

"Today, as an Azerbaijani, I thank those who cheered his soul and made his family happy in these bitter and sad times. All the families of martyrs in Azerbaijan are surrounded by the care and attention of the President, but it is the moral duty of every Azerbaijani to pay attention to the martyr's family." .

Speaking at the event, IEPF President Umud Mirzayev noted that there are more to do in the liberated lands:

"Every Azerbaijani must do his best. This step is a good contribution to the "Year of Shusha". I am sure that this year we will witness many examples. The heart of our diaspora is with Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has to think about its duty and be aware of it."

According to Zulfugar Mirzayev, Chairman of the Board of the Udmurtia-Azerbaijan Friendship Public Centre, the Patriotic War caused great excitement and attention of Azerbaijanis living abroad, especially in Russia:

"We are very happy in Udmurtia to hear when every inch of our land is liberated, we are saddened when every soldier is mrtyred. Today we are proud as an Azerbaijani that we have realsed the dreams of his family. "

Ruslan Guliyev, head of the department of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, said that this work is an example for all Azerbaijanis living abroad:

"Today we are once again convinced that regardless of the country in which they live, the hearts of Azerbaijanis beat together with the families of martyrs."

Zaur Ibrahimov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, noted that the ministry is taking measures to strengthen the social protection of martyrs' families and Karabakh veterans.

"We thank all our compatriots for their support of this sacred work."

Later, a tree was planted in the yard of the apartment presented to the martyr's family.

Soldier Tariyel Atayev was born on September 5, 1986 in Minakhorlu village of Agjabadi. He distinguished himself in the battles in the direction of Fuzuli, Agdara, Khojavend, Shusha in the Patriotic War. The brave fighter was heroically has been martyred in the battles for the city of Shusha. He was posthumously awarded the medal "For the Motherland" by the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
