On August 31, the International Eurasia Press Fund started a joint training with Al Jazeera Media Network.
Ednews informs that at the opening ceremony of the training, Umud Mirzayev, IEPF President, Sabina Seyidova head of department of Media Development Agency (MEDIA), Aflatun Amashov, chairman of Press Council of AR, editor-in-chief of "525-th newsaper", members of IEPF's Board of Trustees Rashad Majid and Honorary journalist Gulu Maharramli and Ray Karimoglu participated.
The trainings will be held at the head office of IEPF by the leading journalist of Al Jazeera Media Network, professional trainer Mohammad Ghulam Bouba. The trainer specially visited Baku to provide training to the Arabic-speaking staff of IEPF and "Ednews.net" analytical information portal. Al-Jazeera Media Network trainer M. Bouba is also a correspondent member of the International Press Institute, a well-known international media expert.
According to the mutual understanding of the two partner organizations, Al Jazeera Media Network will share its experience as well as teaching standards in the field of electronic and new media with IEPF which is the main partner in the region. The trainings to be held on August 31 - September 11 will consist of theoretical and practical parts. After the five-day theoretical training at IEPF's head office in Baku, Mohammad Ghulam Bouba will prepare a report on Azerbaijan's landmine problem for Al-Jazeera Media Network and online news site together with Ednews.net staff. After the training course, it is planned to carry out continuous information exchange between the two institutions according to the agreement.
It should be noted that IEPF and Al Jazeera Media Network, which signed a memorandum of cooperation in March this year, have had a successful cooperation experience for more than 10 years.
