She served as the moderator of the panel titled “NGOs Driving Change: Advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Global South within the Framework of the Global South NGO Platform”, leading the discussions on the topic.
 
The event brought together representatives of non-governmental organizations from seven different countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. The discussions focused on efforts and challenges related to key SDGs in Global South countries, including reducing social inequality, access to education, environmental sustainability, and the protection of women's rights.
 
In her remarks, Nadima Rahimli highlighted Azerbaijan’s achievements in these areas, the active role of civil society institutions in national development processes, and the importance of strengthening state–NGO cooperation. She emphasized that NGOs in Azerbaijan are actively contributing to the realization of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations:
 
"Mine clearance is a fundamental prerequisite for safe living and sustainable development in the post-conflict period. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has proposed including this issue as the 18th Sustainable Development Goal on the global agenda. This initiative is supported by civil society, including the IEPF, and is being promoted internationally. The IEPF has undertaken significant initiatives in this regard within the framework of the UN and COP29."
