President of the International Eurasia Press Fund Umud Mirzayev arrived in Doha, Qatar for visit.
Umud Mirzayev attended in the conference on "Climate change and human rights" organized by the Qatar National Human Rights Committee, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Development Program, the League of Arab States and the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Organizations in Doha.
The head of the Fund shared about it on his Facebook profile. He also shared information on his meeting with the UN special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders, Michelle Forst, at the conference.
"On September 15, 2016, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders, Michel Forst, visited the office of the IEPF during his visit to Azerbaijan. Michelle Forst is participating as a UN Special Rapporteur in the "Climate Change and Human Rights" conference, which started today in Qatar. We met and together remembered his visit to Azerbaijan. Communication brings people closer to each other and makes them friends. There is no greater happiness than being among friends. Especially, may your friendship be fruitful for the people and the nation."
It should be noted that more than 250 state and civil society representatives from different countries of the world are participating in the conference held in Doha.
