The 25th anniversary of Al Jazeera Media Network, one of the world's largest media outlets is marked on the 1st of November.
Having founded in 1996, Al Jazeera initially began broadcasting only daily news about the Arab world, but later became a major international network, including other thematic channels.
The International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) and Al Jazeera Media Network have had a successful partnership for 10 years. IEPF President Umud Mirzayev has sent a congratulatory letter to Al Jazeera Media Network on the anniversary of the organisation.
In a letter to Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Al-Jazeera Media Network, the IEPF President congratulated Al-Jazeera Media Network on its 25th anniversary and wished success to all those who have worked for the organisation over the years.
The letter reads as follows:
"I heartily congratulate you on the 25th anniversary of Al Jazeera Media Network. Personally, I wish success to everyone who has contributed to the activities of Al Jazeera Media Network over the years, including you. I think that you have enough authority in the world media for your immense work for the welfare of mankind and the future of our world.
Twenty-five years, a quarter of a century, is enough time for you to express yourself. From the first day it started broadcasting as a news channel, Al Jazeera Media Network has been on the side of the vulnarables, the right word and justice, as well as referring to reliable sources. That is why today, an honourable biography of Al Jazeera Media Network has been formed. This is primarily due to its core law, which Al Jazeera Media Network has always cited, and its adherence to international law, declarations, conventions, ethical norms and values related to human rights and freedom of speech.
We are very pleased that Al Jazeera Media Network, once founded in the name of the almighty Allah, today is one of the world's largest media organisations, addressing professionalism in the protection of objective news, speech and human rights, as well as modern media knowledge.
