The “Supporting safe return of Internally Displaced People through capacity building of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA)” is an European Union (EU)-funded initiative that is important for reconstruction and contributes to the capacity building of ANAMA. The project is implemented by UNDP in partnership with ANAMA. Local and international civil society organisations such as the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF) and the Mine Advisory Group (MAG) are also project partners. The EU and Azerbaijan have strong partnership in many fields, especially in Mine Action.
The gender equality is mainstreamed in Mine Action by accelerating our achievements.
