The presentation of the book "Iron Fist-Karabakh War 2020" written by Egyptian scientist, researcher and journalist Ahmed Abdo Tarabik has taken place in the Azerbaijani pavilion at the 53rd Cairo International Book Fair. The event has been attended by 51 countries.
 
 on September 27, 2020, “Iron Fist-Karabakh War 2020 ” has been published in Arabic with the support of the International Eurasia Press Fund.
 
 
 
President of the International Eurasia Press Fund Umud Mirzayev and professor of the University of Ayn Shams in Egypt, author of research on Azerbaijan, Professor Ahmed Sami Elaidi contributed to the publication of Ahmad Tarabik's 320-page book on the Second Karabakh War.
 
Besides, the presentation of the book has been attended by representatives of the Egyptian public, journalists, visitors to the exhibition, representatives of the diaspora and staff of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Egypt.
 
The presentation has been made by President of the International Eurasia Press Fund Umud Mirzayev, Professor of Ayn Shams University in Egypt, author of research on Azerbaijan, Professor Ahmed Sami Elaidi, Head of the Book Industry Department of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan Akif Marifli and author of the book Ahmed Tarabik.
 
Opening the event, Akif Marifli, head of the Book Industry Department of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, noted that books published by the ministry's publishing house are displayed on the stand of our exhibition. Among them are publications on the activities of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev, the history and culture of Azerbaijan.
 
At the presentation, Ahmad Tarabik, author of the book "Iron Fist-Karabakh War 2020", gave detailed information about his research work, saying that Azerbaijan's great victory in the 44-day Patriotic War and the restoration of territorial integrity was an important event in the world, including Arab countries. 
 
 
President of the International Eurasia Press Fund Umud Mirzayev said that the book contains the chronology of the war, as well as key points from the speeches of President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev and interviews with international media.
 
 
The book consists of 2 parts and each part has 3 chapters. The research work discusses the struggle of the Azerbaijani people for the freedom of their ancient lands, the training of Azerbaijani soldiers and their heroism in the world. It is about the liberation of our historical lands such as Sugovushan, Jabrayil, Hadrut, Zangilan and Shusha as a result of the strength and determination of the Azerbaijani army. The book talks about the raising of the Azerbaijani flag on the historic Khudaferin Bridge and the terror committed by the Armenian military against the civilian population. A trilateral statement between Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia provides information on the good news of the victory and the failed attacks of the Armenians.
 
The publication even contains information about the "Military Trophy Park" built in the centre of Baku. The study includes documents and facts about crimes committed in the occupied territories of Karabakh by Armenian military units during the 30-year occupation, ethnic cleansing and massacres, as well as the insulting behaviour of Armenian vandalism against historical and religious monuments, graves and mosques.
 
 
In addition, in the last chapters of the book, the author provides extensive information on the reforms carried out in the liberated territories after the end of the 44-day war, development, peace and security, and the liberation of the occupied territories. The study also includes an optimistic view of the future against the background of Azerbaijan's efforts to develop the region in the post-conflict period, establish peace and security, and implement new transnational transport and communication projects.
 
It should be noted that the first presentation of the book "Iron Fist-Karabakh War 2020" has been organised by the International Eurasia Press Fund on December 2 at Baku State University. The second presentation of the book has taken place at the International Book Fair in Doha, Qatar.
 
The presentation of the book "Nizami Ganjavi's works" by the famous orientalist Eugene Bertels, translated into Arabic by Ahmed Sami Elaidi, has also been held at the presentation ceremony in Cairo, Egypt. The book has been published with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan. Professor of Ayn-Shams University Ahmed Sami Elaidi and Patriot, who has translated the book "Nizami Ganjavi's works" into Arabic "- Chairman of the Union of Azerbaijani Diaspora Organisations in Egypt, researcher-scientist Seymur Nasirov has given detailed information about the life and rich literary heritage of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker. He has called the presentation of this valuable work to Arabic-speaking scientists and students an important event.
 
 
At the end of the event, the authors of the books have provided answers to the questions of the participants.
