The International Eurasia Press Fund has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Centre of Arab Eurasian Studies, one of the most influential research centres in the Arab world.

The signing ceremony took place between Umud Mirzayev, President of the International Eurasia Press Fund, and Amr Abdulhamid, Director of the Centre for Arab Eurasian Studies, in Cairo, Egypt.

The main purpose of the memorandum of understanding is to study the countries of the Eurasian region and the countries around, such as China, Turkey, Iran, India, Pakistan, as well as political and economic relations between the United States and the European Union and their social and cultural life.

At the ceremony, Amr Abdulhamid expressed his heartfelt words about IEPF President Umud Mirzayev and said that it was a great pleasure to receive him at his headquarters in Cairo.

"It is a great success for us to sign this memorandum of understanding with the International Eurasia Press Fund. We had extensive discussions in this direction, and in the end we signed this wonderful initiative. I sincerely believe that we will successfully implement this project. I hope that our meeting will take place soon in Baku, my beloved city," he said.

IEPF President Umud Mirzayev, in turn, said that they the common values are what bring them together.

"We have always considered you and your nation as our own. We have very similar points in cultural, historical and other fields. We will always try to continue this cooperation very successfully. "

He said that the agreement signed between the parties in Cairo allows the Centre for Arab Eurasian Studies and the International Eurasia Press Fund to conduct joint research, publish information in the online media of both countries, publish joint magazines, as well as organize joint seminars in Cairo and Baku. In general, it will allow for the exchange of experience between the Azerbaijani media and the CAA. An agreement was also reached on reciprocal visits at the signing ceremony.

Despite the fact that the Centre for Arab Eurasian Studies (CAES) was established in a short time, extensive research is being conducted on the region. At the same time, various issues and a quarterly copy, as well as a free electronic version of the magazine "Arab and Eurasian Affairs" are published in Arabic and Russian. These publications have the names of the world's prominent people in the field of Eurasian research.

The founder and head of the centre, Amr Abdulhamid, continued his education in Russia for a year after receiving his first education in Baku.

Amir Abdulhamid began to represent various Arabic-language publications and TV channels in Russia. He has been a special representative of Al-Ahram, Al-Arabiya and Al-Jazeera in Russia for eight years. He gave interesting interviews with the heads of post-Soviet states and most political leaders. Amir Abdulhamid's interlocutors include Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Kirill, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Mikheil Saakashvili, Yulia Tymoshenko, Egyptian President and many other political leaders of the Arab world.

Amir Abdulhamid is also the general manager of TEN TV, one of Egypt's most influential TV channels.

It should be noted that the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF), an independent international non-governmental organisation registered in 1992, has come up with new projects every year for the past 30 years.

The organisation's innovations and projects do not end there. The year 2022 is also significant for the International Eurasia Press Fund, as this year marks the organisation's 30th anniversary.

It should be noted that the signing ceremony was also attended by IEPF Adviser on Arab Countries Ahmed Sami.
