July 25, Baku — Mr. Martin Lubojacky, Deputy Head of Mission, and Ms. Jana Pokorna, Attaché from the Czech Republic Embassy in Baku, visited the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF),

During the meeting, Umud Mirzayev, President of IEPF, briefed the guests on the organization's history, diverse activities, and numerous projects. He highlighted that IEPF, a member of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) with General Consultative Status, has been an independent international non-governmental organization registered in Azerbaijan since 1992.

Mr. Mirzayev discussed in detail the projects IEPF has implemented to address the severe landmine problem Azerbaijan faces following the Karabakh conflict.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional issues, global conflict zones, the impacts of war, post-war recovery processes, and the importance of delivering objective information from conflict areas.

Both parties expressed interest in exploring future cooperation opportunities, emphasizing the potential effectiveness of collaborative social and humanitarian projects between the Czech Republic and IEPF.
