Today, at the Heydar Aliyev Center of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), Umud Mirzayev, President of the International Eurasia Press Fund (IEPF), public figure, and "Honored Cultural Worker," met with students from the university's "Sabah Groups" and the Faculty of Finance and Accounting.
The meeting, organized at the initiative of UNEC's Student Scientific Society, began with a documentary film showcasing the 32-year history of the IEPF, led by Umud Mirzayev. Following the screening, Mr. Mirzayev shared insights about his career journey, achievements, and the challenges faced from his early days to the present.
After Mr. Mirzayev's speech, Khudaverdi Guliyev, Head of the IEPF's Program Department, discussed the "Zero Poverty, Zero Unemployment, Zero Carbon Emissions" initiative and emphasized the significance of such meetings and initiatives. Mr. Guliyev provided information about the "Three Zeros" initiative, conceptualized by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus, and elaborated on the activities of the related teams.
Following the speeches, students posed questions to Mr. Mirzayev, which enhanced the productivity of the discussion. The event concluded with participants taking a group photo as a memento of the occasion.
